Crafting Vinyl Reborns
Each vinyl reborn baby begins its transformation from a carefully selected vinyl kit or a prepared doll, free from any factory finishes. I then meticulously apply realistic skin tones and subtle details like veining, baby milia, and nail tips using Genesis heat-set paints in a series of very thin layers.
Hair is meticulously applied through either detailed painting techniques or delicate hand-rooting with premium angora mohair or human hair for older babies and children. Delicate eyebrows and eyelashes are added with the same precision. Finally, each baby is given a strategically weighted cloth body to replicate the comforting feel of a real infant, ensuring a lifelike presence. Body plates may also be prepared for added posing flexibility. Once assembled, each reborn is lovingly adorned in exquisite outfits.
Sculpting Full Silicone Babies
My full silicone babies start their life as a sculpture molded from a ball of clay, then carefully poured in high-quality platinum cure silicone. These silicone 'babies' are painted with specialized silicone paints, building up realistic skintones in numerous thin layers. To achieve the incredibly soft and touchable feel of newborn skin, they are matted with the finest matting powder. Hair is then meticulously rooted with premium angora mohair.
Adding to their uniqueness, some of our silicone dolls come with custom-made and designed outfits and accessories, completing their one-of-a-kind appearance.
